 I'm Andy Taylor and my interest in photography began over 25 years ago when I received a Praktica camera for my birthday. My passion developed rapidly and I successfully passed City & Guilds courses covering Basic photography, Black & White printing, Image Derivation, Portraiture and Photo Essay. I continued to gain experience by fulfilling the requests of family and friends to photograph their children and weddings.
Having never photographed a wedding before, and knowing that you can only do it once, I was petrified but really enjoyed it. Every photographer should photograph a wedding at least once. Following a well-received exhibition at Fareham Library I then moved into glamour photography which I concentrated on for several years. Having my own model agency in Hampshire was very interesting and hard work, but some of the best years in my photography career. My interest now lies with macro photography wildlife, nature, still life and special effects. As a member of the Royal Photographic Society I am now working toward gaining Licentiateship status (LRPS.) I am also a member of Dagenham Camera Club.
